The Ghana Energy Summit 2011 (Conference & Exhibition)

The moment natural oil and gas was found in abundance off the coast of Ghana, a revolution was set in place. The opportunities for Ghana soon became obvious, as did the implications for the wider region, Africa and the global energy industry. Drilling began in December last year, by which time two further oil-rich fields had also been discovered in Ghana, with estimates of some $254 million of revenue in the first year of drilling alone for Ghana. As further exploratory missions are made the potential seems to be huge, and by 2020 the oil production reaped from Ghana could be as high as 4.3 million barrels a day. So in the second-half of 2011, after drilling has now begun, there are already lessons to be learnt, and many more chances to take advantage of such a rich and longterm opportunity.

The Ghana Energy Summit 2011 will be examining the future strategy, developments and outlook for the Oil & Gas sectors in Ghana. Featuring a Conference, Exhibition, 'Ghana Networking Party' and One-on-One Meetings; the Ghana Energy Summit 2011 is a must-attend event for the international Oil & Gas sector.

This summit provides a thorough analysis of the developments in Ghana since drilling began, which direction this first phase has taken the overall project in, crucially, what the future of oil and gas production in Ghana is likely to look like.
